This event will be an insightful session on "Maintaining a Work/Life Balance" presented by Chris Ryan of The Women's Hospital. In today's fast-paced world, finding harmony between our professional and personal lives is essential for overall well-being and success.

Chris Ryan, renowned for her expertise in women's health and empowerment, will share practical strategies and tips for achieving and sustaining a healthy work-life balance. From managing time effectively to prioritizing self-care, Chris will provide invaluable insights tailored to the unique experiences of women in the workplace.

Chris' Bio:
In 1999, Christina Ryan was recruited as the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Nursing Officer where she assisted with the initial construction and successful opening of The Women’s Hospital in Newburgh Indiana.  She received her Baccalaureate in Nursing at Elmhurst College, her Master’s Health Administration at Indiana University, and was awarded an honorary Doctor of Science by Elmhurst College.
Ryan’s civic and community involvement includes a long list of local and State organizations. Community health partnerships include: reducing infant mortality, “Baby and Me Tobacco Free”, Baby Friendly and Safe Sleep designation. As well as working together to address Southwest Indiana’s opioid and substance abuse crisis. Board appointments include Indiana Hospital Association, Indiana Perinatal Quality Improvement Collaborative (IPQIP) for the Indiana State Department of Health, German American Bank Corp. Board of Directors, and Ronald McDonald House Charities.
Ryan’s awards and accomplishments include being appointed to serve on The Department of Health and Human Services Advisory Committee on Infant Mortality; she was also appointed by Governor Eric Holcomb to serve as a Board of Trustees for University of Southern Indiana. Mrs. Ryan has been recognized as one of Becker’s Review top female healthcare executives to know, The Next Generation of Women’s Health Leaders Award, and is the 2018 Athena recipient. The Women’s Hospital is the recipient of the JD Power and Associates award for Inpatient Service Excellence, Five Star CMS Quality Rating, and Leapfrog’s Top Hospital Quality Award, US News and World Report award for best Maternity Hospitals, multiple Women’s Choice Awards and for ten consecutive years has been recognized for Best Places to Work from Modern Healthcare. Ms. Ryan was also inducted into the JA Business Hall of Fame.
