Tammy Pickering

Tammy owns T.R. Pickering & Associates, Inc., a training an communications consulting company.  She has more than 20 years experience evaluating, developing, and conducting training programs for employees in a variety of industries, including banking, manufacturing, health care, and non-profit organizations.

Tammy develops curriculum and facilitates courses for USI's Division of Outreach and Engagement, where she also serves as an assessor in the Management Diagnostic Center.  She also taught communication courses for military personnel while a resident of the U.S. Naval Base in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. 

Her articles have appeared in the Evansville Courier, Evansville Business Magazine the Jackson Clarion Ledger, and the former Indiana Journal of Commerce & Industry. She is also the author of Get Yourself Elected, a how-to guide for campaigning for local elected office.  Tammy has a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and a Master of Science degree in Mass Communication from the University of Southern Mississippi.
