ANEW COMMITTEES
Serving on a Committee is a great way to get involved in ANEW on a deeper level. You will have an opportunity to learn more about ANEW's processes and, in turn, help support ANEW's mission. You will work alongside other engaged members, interested in making a difference and furthering relationships. If you would like to learn more about a committee or joining, please contact the Committee Chairs listed below.
MEMBERSHIP
ANEW’s 1st Vice-President chairs the Membership Committee. Committee members review applications each month and recommend qualified candidates for membership. In addition, the committee plans 3 events: ANEW Founders Day Celebration (occurs once every 5 years), Annual Appreciation Event (Golf Outing) and Recruitment Event. The committee also takes responsibility to help in the retention of members and growth of members.

MARKETING
An ANEW Board of Director chairs the Marketing Committee. Committee members are responsible for the monthly newsletter, website, social media, photography of meetings and events and other marketing related responsibilities. The committee will work with other ANEW committees to promote special events, programs and membership initiatives as well as promote ANEW within the community.

PROGRAMS
ANEW’s 2nd Vice President chairs the Programs Committee. Committee members are responsible for finding speakers for the monthly luncheons, organizing the luncheons (choosing food, setup, reservations, etc). The Programs committee also serves as greeters at the meetings, assists with registration each meeting, and helps to ensure meetings run smoothly. The committee also takes reservations for the non-profit tables for the luncheons.

SPECIAL EVENTS
An ANEW Board of Director chairs the Special Events Committee. The Special Events Committee members solely focus on the Annual Meeting in October and the Holiday Luncheon in December. Managing these events include site selection, invitations, menu selection, entertainment, prizes, decorations, budget management, etc.

ORIENTATION
An ANEW Board of Director chairs the Orientation Committee. Committee members are responsible for helping to orient new members into the organization. The committee will plan and attend orientation sessions throughout the year to introduce and provide key organization information to new members and help welcome them into ANEW.
