New Year, Smarter Choices

New Year, Smarter Choices
The new year is the perfect time to reset habits, simplify wellness, and feel more confident about the choices you make every day. In this practical and empowering session, Dr. Rick Liggett, DC, owner of Believe Chiro + Nutrition, will help participants cut through the confusion of modern grocery shopping and misleading food marketing.
Drawing from one of his twelve nutritional coaching sessions, Dr. Liggett will guide us through how to shop smarter, read food labels with confidence, and understand what truly supports long-term health. This session breaks down where to shop, how to navigate the grocery store efficiently, and how to evaluate food label claims, including organic vs. non-organic options.
This session is ideal for anyone looking to start the year feeling informed, empowered, and aligned with healthier habits that support both body and mind as they age.
Grocery Shopping and Label Reading
Many of my patients are not sure how to navigate through a grocery store to find the healthy foods to buy. It can be very confusing to change your way of shopping; plus reading labels can be tricky, especially since the marketing today of packaged products is very misleading. As much as it would be valuable to take each one right to the grocery store and show them, it is very time-consuming and can be difficult to coordinate schedules.
The information I will be presenting comes from one of twelve nutritional coaching sessions that I offer in my practice and will cover:
- Where to Shop
- Navigating the Grocery Store
- Grocery Store Guide
- Label Reading
- Organic vs. Non-Organic
- Food Label Claims
