Linda White
Ms. Linda E. White retired as president and CEO of Deaconess Health System and assumed the position as director of the Deaconess Foundation. She has held numerous positions during her tenure at Deaconess. She currently serves as VP, Chief Administrative Officer for Deaconess Henderson Hospital with responsibilities for the Deaconess Foundation and Interim Administrative Officer for Memorial Hospital in Jasper, Indiana.
White received a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and completed the Deaconess School of Nursing diploma program and earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She also received an MBA. White previously served as chairman of the University of Evansville Board of Trustees.
White's civic and community involvement includes an extensive list of local organizations. White was a director at Old National Bancorp and has served as a board member of Leadership Evansville, Ark Crisis Nursery, Junior League, Indiana Hospital Association and Boys & Girls Club of Evansville along with other local and regional boards. She is a fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives. In 2001, White was recognized as Evansville's Athena Award recipient, and in 2004, was named the University of Evansville's Delta Sigma Pi Business Leader of the Year. In 2014, she was inducted into the Evansville Business Hall of Fame. She also serves on the Indiana Economic Development Corporation, the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology Board of Trustees and the University of Evansville Board of Trustees.
