Joshua Claybourn
Joshua Claybourn is a local attorney, historian, and author with an emphasis on Abraham Lincoln's youth in Indiana. This year he was featured in a six-part CNN documentary titled, "Lincoln: Divided We Stand", which will be summarized for us at the July meeting.
Claybourn is editor of Abraham Lincoln's Wilderness Years (forthcoming in 2021) and co-editor with Bill Bartelt of Abe's Youth: Shaping the Future President (2019). He frequently serves as host of Lincoln Log, a podcast featuring conversations with leading historians and other officials about their stories, research, and wisdom. Claybourn also serves on the board of directors of both the Abraham Lincoln Association and Abraham Lincoln Institute.
Claybourn's law practice focuses primarly on intellectual property, state and local government, utility regulation, and commercial transactions. Locally, he serves as a founding board member and secretary of the Evansville Sports Corp.
